Occupation: I work from home...or anywhere where I have internet access! I looove coffee shops. ;) The company that I work with is based out of South Korea and focuses on teaching English in online classrooms. The students are in South Korea, the tutors are scattered throughout North America and other countries as well. I am the manager for the tutors and do a lot of system and project development. I thrive on organizing events, have an entrepreneurial kick in me that keeps me constantly looking for better ways to do things, expand, grow, change. I love working with our growing company...and I love the fact that I can do it from China!
Most excited about after the wedding: Seeing Joey every day!

Best memories with Joe: Wow...we make great memories allll the time. Maybe my favorite would be the Matt Dusk concert. I always wanted to see him live...it took Joey to make it happen! And of course Qingdao...having Joe propose to me on the beach. The best day of my LIFE! Wow. Also, anything to do with fireworks...which we get a lot of in China...and of course, going to the Great Wall together. Wow...so many incredible memories already, and we've hardly started! ;)

Occupation: Teacher: I teach at Yew Wah International Education School
in Shanghai. Our school prepares Chinese students who are plan to go
abroad for university - mostly to the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. I
teach English reading, writing, speaking, and listening to high school
students. For more advanced students, I teach essay writing, debate,
and public speaking skills. I enjoy working with the students and my
fellow teachers.
Most excited about after the wedding: Having Nica on the same side of
the world as me!
Most worried about after the wedding: Fixing things around the house -
fortunately repair people are inexpensive in China.
Best memories with Nica: Chinese New Years in Shanghai. The first one
In 2008 when we were just getting to know each other better as we
walked around the city on New Year's Eve trying to not get hit by
crazy fireworks exploding around us. Our second in 2009 when we took a
break from planning our wedding by walking around the city on New
Year's Eve trying to not get hit by crazy fireworks exploding around
us A lot can change in a year! Who knows where and how we'll
celebrate it in 2010! A few more memories that stand out. Nica saying
"Yes!" on the beach in Qingdao. Spending time with our families in the
US and Canada the summer of 2008. And our first Christmas together -
spending Christmas eve with my family and then driving through the
night to spend Christmas with Nica's family. Lot's of great memories
have been made, and a lot more to come!
